Located just outside the entrance to Truman State Park and minutes from any arm on this magnificent lake. Our cabins come fully equipped with kitchen utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, color TV, heat and air conditioning, linens and towels, full refrigeratorand freezer, (for you remarkable fishermen, extra freezer space is available). Need to be recharged? All our cabins are equipped with outside electrical hookups. And for you outdoor chefs, there is a patio or deck with patio furniture and a BBQ grill with each cabin.

Convenience is a must while on vacation and Parkside Country Store gives you the ability to travel light to the lake and get what you need after your camp is set up. Now you'll have more room for the fishing gear and the swimming gear for the kids.  We have it all, groceries, pop, beer, ice, bait and tackle. It's all within walking distance of your cabin and the closest store to State Park Campgrounds.

If you are serious about fishing and are planning a fishing trip with friends or with the family, Truman Lake is for you. Welcome to where the arms of beautiful Truman Lake all come together. The Grand arm, Big Tebo arm, Little Tebo arm, and the Osage arm all meet right here at the Truman State Park. Drive down the street and put your boat in at the State Park Marina where there is a free boat launch. Go right, left, straight ahead, pick an arm, any arm. It doesn't matter. Some of the best fishing you've ever had is just minutes away.

What a wonderful place to take a vacation. The Truman Lake area has so much to offer the guys getting together for the fishing trip as well as the families getting together for a summer vacation. In the close-by State Park there is a beach for all you sun bathers and three hiking trails for those who like to explore the outdoors. A camera is a must when visiting the park. Walking through the trails you never know when you'll spot a deer grazing in the grass, or turkey crossing the road. And if you pay attentionyou might see the mighty Bald Eagle soaring through the sky, or were you unaware of the large number of eagles which come into the Truman Lake area?The best part of all this is that it's absolutely free.
